Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Thursday (August 7, 2025) alleged large scale voter fraud in electoral rolls since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in collusion with the Election Commission.

Last week, Mr. Gandhi said he had ‘atom bomb’ evidence on “vote chori” (vote theft) while not revealing much about the evidence he has.

Mr. Gandhi, in an elaborate media conference in New Delhi, Mr. Gandhi claimed there was a poll-nexus between the BJP and the Election Commission. He showed ‘evidence’ of fake voters and fake addresses added in the electoral rolls in various constituencies.

Mr. Gandhi said an investigation by Congress party found out that as many as 40,000 fake and invalid addresses were found in Karnataka alone.
