Central Bank of India has been outperforming its competitors in the areas of total deposits across retail, agriculture and MSME (RAM) sectors, said M.V. Murali Krishna, its Executive Director.
Addressing a gathering on the eve of the 144th anniversary of the bank’s Founder Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala, who set up Central Bank of India in 1911, here on Friday, he emphasised the bank’s commitment to innovation and customer service adding the second phase of its digital transformation journey was currently underway.
“Our digital transformation journey includes the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into routine banking transactions, aimed at enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency,’‘ Mr. Krishna said.
On the eve of the 144th Birth Anniversary of Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala, the esteemed founder of Central Bank of India, the Regional Office in Bangalore organized a grand celebration to mark the occasion.
The event was also attended senior officials of the bank including Mr. Dharasing Naik, K. Mr. Partha Sarathi Naidu, Mr. Manas Sen andMs. Apurva Dhiman and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naidu thanked all customers, stakeholders, and staff of the bank who have contributed to its 114-year journey.
