The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert in 13 Telangana districts for Sunday (August 10, 2025).

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Siddipet, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Nagarkurnool districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur in all 33 districts of the State.
Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds is very likely to occur in the city. Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30°C and 22°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
