A 16-year-old boy died after falling from the pillion of a bike driven by his friend when it collided into another bike which came in the opposite direction while taking a video of a bike stunt on Monday night in Pallavaram.
Police sources said one Abdul Hameed, 18, who is an AC mechanic from Jamin Pallavaram took his brother’s bike and his friend Suhail Rasheed, who is 16 years old. They came to the place where weekly market is held on Fridays and they were doing bike stunts besides video capturing with a hand-held device. Accidentally, the bike they were riding hit another bike which came in the opposite side. Five persons in both the bikes were thrown off and Suhail Rasheed died on the spot and four others were injured.
Police rushed them to a hospital in an ambulance. Traffic investigation wing, Chromepet registered a case.
