Madurai City Commissioner of Police J. loganathan on Tuesday inaugurated a new police outpost near Thirumalai Nayak Palace under South Gate police station limits. The new outpost has five cameras, including two automatic number plate recognition cameras installed at Mahal Road and St Mary’s junction.

Three cameras have been installed at South Gate Junction. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) A.G. Inigo Thivyan and Assistant Commissioner of Police Chandraleka were present.
