Degree with IAS programme launched at Bullayya College

Discipline, determination, and consistent effort are the true keys to success in the Civil Services, said Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi while inaugurating the Degree with IAS Programme at Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College.

The innovative programme, introduced in collaboration with Takshasila IAS Academy, aims to integrate undergraduate education with structured IAS coaching.

Mr. Bagchi told students to set ambitious goals and pursue them with sincerity. He reminded them that challenges in life should be seen as opportunities for growth, and that civil servants play a vital role in shaping the nation’s progress.

G. Madhu Kumar, secretary & correspondent of Dr. L.B. College, said the institution has always been committed to pioneering academic initiatives. He stressed that this new collaboration would not only enhance the college’s academic profile but also empower students to dream beyond conventional career paths.

Varun Dev, chief mentor of Takshasila IAS Academy, described the programme as a milestone in educational reforms. He said the Academy’s mission is to nurture young minds with proper training, mentorship, and competitive spirit, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of Civil Services.
