Six persons have been selected for the Karma Yogi Award 2025 for their contribution in various fields, to commemorate the third death anniversary of former FKCCI president and industrialist Shantlingappa S. Patil Kadaganchi.
The six eminent personalities include Dr. P.S. Shankar, Emeritus Professor of Medicine and writer (Medical), Mallika S. Ghanti, former Vice-Chancellor, Kannada University, Hampi (Education), Raghavendra Mailapur (Industry), Swamirao Kulkarni, writer (Literature), Apparao Akkoni (Knowledge transmission) and Chandrashekar B. Somashetty (Art).
The pormer President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Manu Baligar, addressing presspersons said that all the six personalities have made significant contribution in their respective fields. They will be conferred with Karma Yogi Award in Kalaburagi city on Saturday.
The award carries a cash prize of ₹ 51,000 and a citation.
