SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (SRMMCH\&RC) launched the Subhiksha Health Card – Health for All.

The card aims to provide access to medical services for one lakh individuals in its first phase. The scheme covers a wide spectrum of care, from 24×7 emergency services to organ transplants, backed by SRM’s network of over 400 doctors and 30 specialties.

A key feature is maternal care under the Valliammai Women and Child Welfare Scheme, which offers free treatment and a ₹20,000 support package to expectant mothers. “This card is not just a benefit, it’s a promise,” said Nitin M. Nagarkar, pro vice-chancellor.
