Sohil Shah (Kolkata Royal Tigers) converted his spectacular pole position into a commanding victory in a start-stop race as the curtains came down on the second round of the Indian Racing League at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai on Sunday (August 24, 2025).

At the start, Shah held off early pressure from Akshay Bohra (Hyderabad Black Birds). Despite a couple of safety cars and a red flag, Shah was able to settle into a rhythm and control the pace all the way to the chequered flag. Bohra followed him home in second place, while Jon Lancaster bounced back from a tough opening round in Coimbatore to claim the final podium spot, making it a 2-3 finish for the Hyderabad Black Birds
In the Indian F4 championship, which had three races on the day, Ishaan Madesh was the standout driver, claiming a win and a third place. In race-2, Madesh stormed from eighth to second on the first lap and then took the lead before cruising home to victory ahead of Sachel Rotge and Ghazi Motlekar. In race-3, Shane Chandaria claimed victory ahead of Indian drivers Saishiva Sankaran Madesh. In race-4, Rotge claimed his second win of the weekend ahead of Luviwe Sambudla and Saishiva.
