Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday inaugurated the Chief Minister’s mini stadium constructed at ₹7.50 crore in his Kolathur Assembly constituency in Chennai. He also inaugurated over 162 housing units built by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board at a cost of ₹27 crore.
He also inaugurated bus termini in Periyar Nagar and Thiru.Vi.Ka. Nagar constructed by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority at a cost of ₹18 crore, an official release said. He inaugurated a modern gymnasium for women constructed by the Greater Chennai Corporation at a cost of ₹74 lakh.
Mr. Stalin also inaugurated an automated drinking water dispensing unit set up by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board at ₹12 lakh. During his visit, he also flagged off 248 BS-VI buses for women procured for Metropolitan Transrport Corporation at a cost of ₹104 crore.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the games being held for the Chief Minister’s Cup for 2025. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister P.K. Sekarbabu, Chennai Mayor R. Priya, MPs Kalanidhi Veeraswamy and R. Girirajan, legislators A. Vetriazhagan, Thayagam Kavi, and Joseph Samuel, along with senior officials, were present.
