After weeks of speculation and social media teasers, Linkin Park have officially confirmed they will headline Lollapalooza India 2026, marking the band’s long-awaited debut in the country. The Grammy-winning rock group will take the stage at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on January 25, the second day of the festival.

The announcement arrives as part of the group’s ongoing From Zero World Tour, launched after the release of their 2024 comeback album From Zero. That record introduced fans to new co-lead vocalist Emily Armstrong, drummer Colin Brittain and guitarist Alex Federer, alongside founding members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and Joe Hahn.

In a message shared with fans, Shinoda said India had long been on the band’s list. “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them,” he said.

The band’s return in 2024 ended a seven-year hiatus that followed Chester Bennington’s death in 2017. Their reintroduction came with new music, including the single The Emptiness Machine, and a global arena run that has stretched across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Lollapalooza India will hold its fourth edition on January 24–25, featuring more than 40 international and local acts. Past lineups have included Imagine Dragons, Sting, Jonas Brothers, Halsey and AP Dhillon. The full 2026 lineup is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, but Linkin Park’s confirmation sets one of the festival’s biggest draws.

General tickets went on sale August 28 through lollaindia.com and BookMyShow, with VIP and Platinum passes offering perks such as lounge access, priority pits, and shuttle services.

The Mumbai stop is listed between Middle East and European dates on the band’s website, making India part of one of their most extensive global tours in years. For fans who have waited decades to see the group live, the performance looks to be a landmark moment in the festival’s short but growing history.
