Olympian Gurpreet Singh clinched the 25-metre standard pistol gold, beating compatriot Amanpreet Singh on the count-back after both shot 572 in the 16th Asian shooting championship in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, on Thursday.
With Harsh Gupta the two, the Indian team also won the gold, five points ahead of Korea.
Earlier, Anish Bhanwala had won the silver in the 25-metre rapid fire pistol event, as he was beaten 35-36 by Su Lianbofan of China. Adarsh Singh also made the final but placed fifth. Aong with Neeraj Kumar, the team won the silver behind Korea.
In the trap youth section, Yugan Muthukumaar and Tanisska Senthilkumar did well to win the individual gold, and combined as the mixed team to capture the gold.
