Three youths escape with minor injuries in wall collapse in Vizag

Three people escaped with minor injuries when a 30-foot-wide and six-foot-high wall near a Gensh Pandal collapsed, near the Police Barracks in One Town on Thursday.

The wall that fell on the Ganesh pandal caused significant damage to it. Several parked vehicles and a shop near the pandal were also damaged.

However, the three youths who were sleeping inside the pandal had a miraculous escape. According to locals, the wall, which was already in a dilapidated condition, may have been weakened further by the recent rains. The police rushed to the spot and deployed teams to clear the debris.
