Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Skill Kerala Global Summit at Grand Hyatt here on Friday.
The event, which is organised by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC), is part of efforts to open up job opportunities for students of various higher educational institutions through skill training. The State governmentās Vijnana Keralam project has set a target of campus placements for around one lakh students, according to a release.
The summit will discuss various topics including education, jobs, and skill development required for the future. Six sessions will be held as part of the programme that will conclude on August 30, it said.
