Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his loyal Ministers and leaders on Friday participated in the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ undertaken by senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Gopalganj in Bihar.

Ministers G. Parameshwara, Satish Jarkiholi, B.Z. Zameer Ahmed, K.J. George and MLCs B.K. Hariprasad, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Salim Ahmed, Chief Minister’s legal adviser and MLA A.S. Ponnanna and Chief Minister’s political secretary Nazir Ahmed also participated.

Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC chief D.K. Shivakumar, along with others, participated in Mr. Gandhi’s yatra last week to express solidarity with him.

The Bihar Legislative Assembly polls are scheduled to be held this year-end, and the Congress has been making allegations of electoral fraud during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as its major electoral plank.

The ruling JD(U)-BJP alliance in Bihar, on the other hand, has alleged that Mr. Gandhi has been misleading the public by spreading false narratives.
