10-year-old boy accidentally electrocuted in Udayagiri

A 10-year-old boy was accidentally electrocuted in Udayagiri mandal of SPSR Nellore district late on Sunday night.

According to the sources, the deceased was identified as Sheikh Sameer from Kamsala Street in Udayagiri. He was found lying unconscious near an iron electric pole and the locals rushed him to Udayagiri Government Hospital.

The doctors declared that the child was brought dead. Based on the burn injuries on his body, they said that the cause of the death was an electric shock. His body was shifted for the post-mortem. The police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
