Taiwan Education Centre inaugurated at CIT

A Taiwan Education Centre was recently inaugurated at Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT) to provide students training in Mandarin. The Centre would also facilitate faculty and student exchange programmes, new research initiatives, and higher education opportunities for Indian students in Taiwan, according to a press release. P. Sriram, Chairman, CIT; Stephen S.C. Hsu, Director-General, Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) in Chennai; Jill Lai, Director of Education, TECC; and Wei-Sung Wang, Director, India Research Centre, National Tsing Hua University, highlighted the collaboration between Taiwan and India in education and research.
