Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud condemned BRS MLC K. Kavitha’s remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, asserting that her statements only confirmed large-scale corruption in the Kaleshwaram project.

“Whether it was KCR or Harish Rao but Kavitha’s admission and outburst make it clear that the scam happened during their regime,” he said in a press release.

Mr. Goud demanded that the role of both the former Chief Minister and his family be investigated thoroughly. “In the Kaleshwaram corruption, how much was KCR’s share and how much was his son-in-law Harish Rao’s? This has to be brought out,” he said, adding that the KCR family feud had now “reached the final stage.”

“Why are BRS leaders, who claim they have done no wrong, so afraid of a CBI probe? If they are innocent, they should face the investigation,” he remarked.

Recalling Ms. Kavitha’s earlier statement that “ghosts surrounded Mr. KCR,” Mr. Goud challenged her to come clean. “Are those ghosts, Harish Rao and Santosh Rao? Who else is part of this circle of corruption? She must reveal it,” he demanded.
