SRM School of Law prepares to host Lexposium 2025

The SRM School of Law of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is conducting “Lexposium 2025 – The Cradle for Future Jurists”, a national-level conclave on Saturday at its premises in Kattankulathur.

The inauguration of the SRM School of Law building will also be held on the same day.

The conclave will bring together jurists, senior advocates and corporate leaders to engage in critical and contemporary discussions on the evolving landscape of law and governance in India. It will be attended by former Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana; former Chief Justice of India U.U. Lalit; former Supreme Court judge Justice Deepak Gupta; Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjay Karol; former Supreme Court judge Justice Ajay Rastogi; Madras High Court judge Justice Anita Sumanth; former Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir Gita Mittal; and former Chief Justice of the High Court of Orissa Chakradhari Sharan Singh.

The conclave will also feature many from the legal and corporate fraternity, including Abhishek Manu Singhvi, senior advocate, Supreme Court; Cyril Shroff, managing partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor-General of India; Pinky Anand, former Additional Solicitor General; Nalin Kohli, senior advocate, Supreme Court; Pradeep Rai, senior advocate, Supreme Court; Swapna Sundar, senior partner, P.V.S. Giridhar Associates; Jayant Saran, partner, forensic and financial crime strategy, risk and transactions, Deloitte India; and ArunBalaji Alagappan, partner, forensic and integrity services, EY.

The conclave will address themes such as judicial reforms and access to justice, constitutional morality and ethics in governance, the interplay between law, technology, and society, as well as emerging frontiers in corporate law, cybersecurity, and forensic strategies.
