Holiday for Telangana govt. offices, educational institutions on Sept. 6

Telangana government has issued orders declaring Saturday (September 6) a general holiday for government offices and State-run schools and colleges located in and around twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal Malkajgiri districts on account of the procession of Ganesh idols for immersion.

Consequently, the offices and institutions in the districts will work on the second Saturday of the month (October 11), according to an order issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao on Wednesday.
