Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy participated in the pooja of 69-foot tall Khairatabad Ganesh idol on Friday (September 5, 2025). He said that it has been 71 years that the festivities are being held by Khaitabad Ganesh Utsav Samithi. This year, the idol is themed on ‘Operation Sindoor – Vishwashanti Maha Shakti’.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that 1,40,000 Ganesh idols were installed in Hyderabad and the State Government provided electricity free of charge to pandals. Arrangements were made at Tank Bund and other locations for immersion of the idols.
