Blood donation camp organised – The Hindu

The Students’ Federation of India and the Democratic Youth Federation of India jointly organised a blood donation camp in Palayamkottai on Friday to commemorate the birth anniversary of martyr V.O. Chidambaram and for promoting religious and communal harmony.

Around 120 SFI and DYFI activists, students and volunteers donated blood and personnel from Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital Blood Bank collected the blood.

Former Dean, TVMCH S. Ramaguru, former principal of MDT Hindu College, V. Ponnuraj, former employee of Life Insurance Corporation of India Madhupal and others coordinated the event.
