As many as 31 senior civil police officers (CPOs) joined the State police force on Monday following their passing-out parade held at the Malabar Special Police (MSP) grounds here.
Director General of Police Ravada A. Chandrasekhar received the salute at the passing-out parade. Additional Director General of Police S. Sreejit, Deputy Inspector General Arul R.B. Krishna, and MSP Commandant K. Salin attended the function.

MSP Assistant Commandant K.V. Rajesh administered the oath. Albin K. Jameson led the parade.
Mr. Chandrasekhar gave away awards to those who excelled during their training. Abhijit Rajendran won the award in indoor category and Albin K. Jameson in outdoor category. K. Sujeesh won the award in shooting.

The 31 new senior CPOs have different educational backgrounds – five hold postgraduate degrees, 16 are graduates, seven have higher secondary qualifications, and three are diploma holders.
