Tata Power Renewables, a subsidiary of Tata Power, unveiled its ‘Ghar Ghar Solar’ initiative on Monday as part of its promotion to sell its solar products across Andhra Pradesh.

On the occasion, the company launched a festive season scheme for the State. The offer includes – pay ₹999 upfront and take home a solar system, avail 100% financing on the system cost, with 60 EMIs starting at ₹2,203 (for a 2 kWp system), and starting EMI at ₹12,002 for a 10kWp system.

The company also introduced two solar products for residential customers -MySine, a compact solar and battery backup system, and Solar Design Spaces – a curated range of 25 aesthetic rooftop installations.

The company has partnered with 15 financial institutions—including SBI, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, and Indian Bank—to provide flexible and accessible loan options for residential customers. The key benefits offered by Tata Power Solaroof include a 25-year warranty on solar modules, industry-leading quality assurance, exclusive sales and service coverage across more than 450 districts nationwide, dedicated after-sales support, flexible financing solutions, and comprehensive insurance coverage for rooftop solar installations.

To date, the company has completed over 2.2 lakh installations nationwide. It is one of the contributors to the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, where the residential consumers are eligible for central subsidies of ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, and ₹18,000 per kW for the subsequent 1 kW, with a total subsidy cap of ₹78,000 for systems above 3 kW, said Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD of Tata Power, at the launch.

As of July 2025, the company’s cumulative installed rooftop solar capacity in Andhra Pradesh has reached 102.43 MWp, serving 9,235 customers. In July 2025, the company added 2.75 MWp of capacity through 820 new rooftop solar installations. For the first quarter of the 2025–26 fiscal year, it completed 2,231 new installations, contributing 9.532 MWp to the total capacity. It has a plan to achieve 350 MWp capacity and 1 lakh customers in next two to three years, Mr. Sinha added.
