Netflix has released the trailer for The Ba**ds of Bollywood, the directorial debut of Aryan Khan, set to premiere this month. The seven-episode series is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment.

The show follows Aasman Singh (Lakshya), an aspiring outsider navigating the complexities of the film industry. It also introduces moments of satire, such as Karan Johar appearing as himself, and cameos from Rajkummar Rao, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Aamir Khan, Disha Patani, and filmmaker SS Rajamouli. Shah Rukh Khan also makes a brief appearance.

The music of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, is in collaboration with T-Series. The album is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with guest composers Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta.

Netflix describes the series as “a mix of sharp one-liners and larger-than-life moments,” presenting a self-aware take on the industry. The script is by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, with Bonnie Jain and Akshat Verma as executive producers.
