The people’s government is focusing on accelerating rural infrastructure development through holistic interventions to boost rural livelihood and improve living standards of people with a thrust on rural areas, said Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
He laid the foundation stones for a string of development works, including CC roads and Anganwadi centres in Yerrupalem mandal of Madhira Assembly constituency in Khammam district on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “Development and welfare programmes are being implemented in a planned manner with a pragmatic approach to develop Madhira into a model constituency and meet the aspirations of people with a futuristic vision.”
Later, he reviewed the ongoing development works and implementation of several welfare initiatives in the constituency with the officials concerned at Banigandlapadu village in Yerrupalem mandal. Khammam Collector Anudeep Durishetty and others were present.
