Tirupati will host the ‘Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan 2025’ from December 26 to 29, with experts from the national scientific fraternity, academic and research institutions taking part.
The national event is jointly organised by the Union Ministry of Education, Vijnana Bharati, Indian Knowledge Systems, A.P. Council of Science and Technology (APCOST), National Innovation Foundation and National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, in which 900 delegates will take part from across the country.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will participate in the inaugural ceremony, along with Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh, NSA Board member G. Satheesh Reddy, Vijnana Bharati President Sekhar C. Mande. In the valedictory session, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and DST Secretary Abhya Karandikar will take part.
The meet will deliberate on topics such as architecture and civil engineering, language and linguistics, agriculture, animal husbandry and aquaculture, IPR and strategic issues, materials and metallurgy, biodiversity and ecological conservation, oceanic sciences and maritime knowledge, quantum computing, semiconductors and fab, AI and ML applications and others.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, NSU Vice-Chancellor G.S.R. Krishnamurthi, SRM University Executive Director (Research) D. Narayana Rao announced that the meet would correlate the ancient scientific wisdom with the modern scientific knowledge.

There will also be a science and tech expo as part of the event, with enhanced focus on institutions, handicrafts and innovations to highlight India’s scientific heritage, modern innovations and future aspirations.
