The Madurai district administration, in collaboration with the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, is to host a mega private sector job fair on October 10, 2026, at the Madurai College campus.
The mega recruitment drive will feature over 200 leading corporate entities and industrial giants, including TATA Electronics, L&T Chennai, HCL Tech, TAFE, Royal Enfield Madurai, TVS Srichakra, ZF Rane, JK Fenner, UCAL Limited, TP Solar Limited, Aurolab, Vertical Solutions, Infinix Services Pvt. Ltd. and Atchaya Gold Company. These companies are set to conduct direct interviews and recruit eligible candidates for a wide array of vacant positions, the district administration said.
The employment fair is open to a broad spectrum of job seekers, ranging from those who have passed Classes VIII, IX and XII to holders of ITI, Diploma, Nursing, Arts and Science degrees, postgraduate degrees and engineering qualifications.
Officials highlighted that the initiative was designed to provide a platform for local youth to secure well-paying career opportunities tailored to their individual skills and academic backgrounds.
Aspirants and participating employers are required to register their profiles in advance on the official portal at www.tnprivatejobs.tn.gov.in.
Candidates attending the fair on October 10 are advised to bring their resumes, copies of educational certificates, passport-size photographs and proof of identity.
The event is conducted entirely free of cost, and the district administration has urged educated unemployed youth and job seekers across the region to utilise this opportunity in large numbers.
