Murder case accused nabbed after 8 years

After 8 years, the police have arrested two persons, including a minor, for allegedly murdering a woman in 2018.

Police said a 48-year-old woman was murdered on September 30, 2018 at Iluppaiyoorani under the Kovilpatti East police station limits and the case remained unresolved.

After Superintendent of Police N. Silambarasan formed a special team, the police nabbed one David Raj, 20, of Kovilpatti and his associate, a juvenile.

Mr. Silambarasan honoured the special team members for solving the murder case after 8 years.
