Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, Srirangam, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Institute of Technology Madras Pravartak to strengthen academia-industry linkage and enhance skill-based education, research and innovation.
The main objectives of the MoU is to provide advanced skill training programmes for students in emerging technologies; conduct faculty development programmes to enhance teaching, research and professional competencies; organise collaborative seminars and workshops; promote innovation and rural entrepreneurship and foster a culture of research, innovation and industry-oriented learning.
The MoU was signed in the presence His Holiness Srimad Andavan Sri Srivaraha Mahadesigan and the virtual presence of V.Kamakoti, Director, IIT-M. V. Upendran, Vice-Chairman, Sri Ranganatha Paduka Vidyalaya Trust, R. Venkatesh, Secretary, and M. Pitchaimani, Principal, Srimad Andavan Arts and Science College, were also present, according to a press release from the college.
