Four out of the top 10 rank-holders in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2025 are candidates who had passed out of schools in Tiruppur district.
The students from Tiruppur district constitute Krishnapriyan (ranked fourth) of Veveham Matric HSS, Dharapuram; Vishalram V.J. (ranked seventh) of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Matric HSS, Ammapalayam; P. Subhashree (ranked ninth) of Swami Vivekananda Matric HSS, Kangeyam; and Kothai Kamatchi R (ranked 10th) of Vikas Vidyalaya Matric HSS, Koolipalayam.
The second rank-holder Karthika S. of Kongunadu Matric HSS, Nallipalayam, Namakkal, is also from the Western region.
The top-ranker in TNEA 2025 is J. Sagasra of M.L.M. Mamallan Matric Higher Secondary School, Kancheepuram.
Other top 10 rank-holders constitute M. Amalan Anto (third rank) of Gokilambal Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Udayarpalayam in Ariyalur district; G. Deepa (fifth rank) of Vallalar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore; J. Deepika (sixth rank) of Dhava Amutham Matric Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore; and R.V. Pavithraa (eighth rank) of SMBM Matric Higher Secondary School, Dindigul.
Incidentally, in terms of overall pass percentage, too, in Plus Two, Tiruppur district was ranked within the first three positions in the last three years.
In 2025, Tiruppur district was placed at the third position with an overall pass percentage of 97.53. In 2024, Tiruppur was placed at first position with 97.45%. In 2023, Tiruppur district had secured the second position with a pass percentage of 97.79.
