A person, aged about 32, was found murdered at Kumsi in Shivamogga taluk on Sunday (June 30, 2025).
The deceased has been identified as Vasu. The local police have suspected the role of two people from the village in the murder. A preliminary investigation suggested that Vasu’s illicit relationship with a woman from the village could be the motive for the killing.
Shivamogga SP G.K. Mithun Kumar informed the media that Kumsi police had registered the case and efforts were on to arrest the accused.
