Officials attached to the Water Resources Department said that due to heavy rain in catchment areas of Mettur Dam, the inflow increased. The dam is expected to reach its full capacity of 120 feet by Saturday night. Earlier on June 29, the dam attained its full capacity. After the water level reaches 120 feet, the inflow will be released completely for delta irrigation.
