A female postgraduate medical student of a private hospital in Coimbatore was found dead inside a restroom on the hospital premises on Sunday.
The police said a 29-year-old doctor from Vagurampatti village in Namakkal district, who was doing post graduation at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, was found dead on Sunday morning. The body was found in one of the restrooms.
After being alerted by the hospital management, the Peelamedu police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to the Government Medical College and ESI Hospital for post-mortem examination. The police have launched an investigation to find out the cause of death.
