The Madras Royal Club, established in 2015, recently organised a special movie screening at Albert Theatre for over 700 individuals from orphanages, old age homes, and disability support centres across the city. The event was part of the club’s ongoing efforts to support underprivileged communities through social service initiatives. A press release said that under the leadership of President Nirmal Nahta, along with Secretary Ratan Katariya, Treasurer Ramesh Darda, and other office bearers, the club has been actively engaged in charitable activities such as food donations, eye camps, installation of RO water plants, and providing dialysis machines for the poor.
