Liquor scam: Midhun jailed, YSRCP supporters gather outside prisonat Rajahmundry Central Prison in support of Midhun

Rajampeta MP P.V. Midhun Reddy was sent to the Rajahmundry Central Prison (RCP) late on Sunday night, following a judicial remand order issued by the Vijayawada ACB Court in connection with the liquor scandal case. Scores of YSR Congress party leaders, led by former Rajamahendravaram MP Margani Bharat gathered outside the prison in a show of solidarity. Prison authorities had already made prior arrangements for his arrival and ensured a smooth admission process.

The city police have deployed additional personnel outside the prison to keep vigil and prevent any protests or rallies against the arrest of Mr. Midhun Reddy. Speaking to newsmen outside the prison, Mr. Bharat condemned the arrest, calling the allegations baseless.
