Parking within Corporation limits to be free temporarily

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has announced that all parking spaces under its jurisdiction would remain free of charge until a new contract is finalised. The contract with Tamil Nadu Ex-Servicemen’s Corporation, which had managed the parking fee collection in GCC limits, has ended. The process to finalise a new contractor is under way. In the interim period, no individual or agency is authorised to collect fees for parking at GCC-managed locations. Complaints may be lodged at GCC’s helpline 1913.
