Alumni of govt. school demand action against HM for assigning non-academic work to students

Demanding action against the headmaster of Vannangundu Government Higher Secondary School at Keezhakarai taluk, school alumni submitted a petition with Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon here on Monday.

 B. Harshath, one of the petitioners, said the headmaster, who was appointed about a year ago, was assigning non-academic work to students and was disturbing them during class hours.  

Also, the headmaster was not allowing the students to attend physical education classes. “As former students and relatives of students studying in the school now, we want to bring the issue to the notice of the district administration for necessary action,” he added.
