The Preethi Hospitals is organising a three-day fifth edition of “Preethi Trauma Update” in the city from August 1 to 3.
Speaking to media persons on Thursday, organising chairman R. Sivakumar said that it would be an opportunity to share practical insights and facilitate in collaborative learning of new techniques. With the theme – fracture dislocation – decoding the complexity, the conclave aims to discuss threadbare this topic in the presence of senior faculty members from Tamil Nadu and from other States.
Technical sessions on hip, foot and ankle and among others would be handled by experts and renowned surgeons.
Probably for the first time, the organisers are planning to have a detailed talk on the 3-D printing technology, which would be addressed by noted Prof. D. D. Tanna and among others.
Co-chairman M. Chidambaram and organising secretary Prahalad Kumar Singhi said that apart from the delegates, faculty members from different parts of the country are addressing. For the benefit of post-graduate students, the organisers have made online registration as it would reach more people in other locations.
