Paliyar tribes seek proper road connectivity

Paliyar tribes from Karuvelampatti on Kodaikanal hills, on Monday (August 11, 2025), submitted a petition to the Dindigul Collector seeking proper road connectivity to their village.

Despite submitting several representations to the authorities concerned, no action had been taken so far, they said. The people said that without a proper road, they were facing difficulties.

They urged the authorities concerned to lay a road connecting Sembirankulam and Karuvelampatti.
