The Principal District Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram has convicted and sentenced a 54-year-old man to life imprisonment for murdering a 40-year-old man in Kundrathur due to previous motive.
According to police, on April, 6, 2017, N. Karthick, 40, was brutally attacked by Sankar alias Welding Sankar, who stabbed him with a tube light and caused his death near Duraisamy Mudaliar Street in Kundrathur police station limits. A case was registered at Kundrathur Police Station and taken up for investigation.
During the course of investigation, accused R. Sankar alias Welding Sankar, 46, was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
Sankar was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court besides imposing fines.
