At least 40 locations spread across six districts in Telangana received over 100 mm rain from Sunday morning to 7.00 a.m. on Monday (August 18, 2025). The six districts are Siddipet, Medak, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Nizamabad and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.

Gouraram in Siddipet district recorded the highest of 236 mm rain, followed by 186.5 mm in Mulug of Siddipet and 179.5 mm in Islampur of Medak, according to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS).

The rain in Hyderabad was interspersed during major part of Sunday, which gradually turned to continuous showers from the night. From Sunday to Monday morning, the highest of 46.3 mm was recorded in Kukatpally, followed by 45.0 mm in Malkajgiri and 43.8 mm in Gajularamamram – all in Medchal Malkajgiri.
