The Andhra Pradesh Government constituted a Group of Ministers (GoM) to study the feasibility of proposed enhancement of age of superannuation of regular employees of State PSUs, corporations, societies included in the Schedules IX and X of Andhra Pradesh Bifurcation Act — 2014, and other institutions from 60 to 62 years.
As per G.O. Rt. No.1545, the GoM will have Ministers P. Narayana (Municipal Administration & Urban Development), Nara Lokesh (IT & Human Resources Development), and Payyavula Keshav (Finance) as members and Principal Secretary (Finance) as the convener.
The GoM has been asked to submit its recommendations at an early date to enable the government to pursue the matter, as per the G.O issued by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand.
