A reunion of the alumni of Class 10 of ‘A’ section of the 1990 batch of N. Krishnaswamy Mudaliar Higher Secondary School, which comes under Vellore Corporation limits, was organised at its campus here on Saturday.
In his address, G.V. Selvam, vice-president, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and an alumnus, said the reunion is a commemoration of beloved moments, lasting friendships, and the collective experiences that started within the walls of the school. In gathering together, we pay tribute to our teachers who shaped our lives for a better future. “Our teachers were strict only to shape us for the better — a discipline we now cherish with gratitude,” Mr. Selvam said.
The alumni also planted tree saplings in the school campus. They also donated a smart computer centre equipped with 35 computers and other facilities worth ₹17 Lakhs to the school authorities, which was inaugurated by Collector V.R. Subbulaxmi.
