A three-day art exhibition titled ‘Nammuru’ will begin at Trivarna Art Gallery in Manipal from September 5.
Organised by Trivarna Kala Kendra, 32 artworks of 32 art students will be exhibited from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., said Harish Saga, artist and instructor of the kendra.
The artworks to be exhibited are Thrissur temple, sun set, tea stall, go shala, kola, Theyyam, tea estate, kesarinaata, prayer, kantara, Venu Gopal, nithya pooje, samudra snana, pardhana, Kaup beach, rangoli, asthami, rahotsava, utsava bali, deva bindige, jathre, goodangady, Babbuswamy, surapana, gombeyata, Bahubali, Mahabalipuram, nanda deepa, bhajan, Aanekere, ratha beedi, and dollu dance.
The paintings are in acrylic on canvas, charcoal, and mixed media shades, he said in a release.
It will be the 30th art exhibition to be organised by the kendra. Students aged between seven years and 18 years will showcase their works, and they are from Trivarna art classes, he said.
Ganesh Shetty, principal, Jnanasudha Pre-University College, Manipal, will inaugurate the exhibition at 10 a.m.
