Two-day State conference of CPI begins in Puducherry

CPI secretary K. Narayana inaugurated the open session at the State conference of the Puducherry unit of CPI which began at Reddiarpalayam on Tuesday. Leaders of CPI (M) and CPI (M-L) spoke on the occasion.

The two-day State conference of the Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India began at Reddiarpalayam on Tuesday. CPI secretary K. Narayana inaugurated the open session in which leaders from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) delivered their felicitation address. In the evening, secretary of CPI A. M. Saleem presented various organisational reports before the delegates. The last day would witness the constitution of the new State Council and Executive Committee. The conference will end with a rally and public meeting.
