Moot Court competition for law students in Andhra Pradesh

GITAM Deemed to be University’s Moot and Advocacy Committee (GMAC) will host the MVVS Murthi 6th Virtual National Level Moot Court Competition – 2025, from October 8 to October 11, announced GITAM School of Law director Ch. Lakshmana Rao on Wednesday.

This year the competition will focus on the evolving field of criminal law, with special emphasis on NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) cases. In light of the ongoing legal reforms and challenges in this domain, the competition will offer participants a timely and critical opportunity to engage with real-world legal complexities, he added.

The competition is open to all law students enrolled in 3-year and 5-year LLB programs at recognised law colleges across India. The competition aims to foster legal acumen and provide national-level exposure. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with eminent legal professionals, receive expert guidance, and expand their professional networks.
