10, including 8 students, tested positive for marijuana at private university hostel

Ten individuals, including eight students, were detained following a raid on a private university hostel in Shankarpally on Wednesday night. The police said around 300 grams of marijuana was seized from the location.

The operation was carried out by the Rajendranagar Special Operation Team (SOT) and the Mokila police. “The individuals who tested positive during the raid were booked,” said an official from the Mokila police.

A case has been booked and further investigation is under way to establish the source of the contraband and network.
