Initiative to revive glory of handwriting, competitions held for students and government employees

In a move to revive the glory of handwriting in the digital era, district-level handwriting competitions were organised in separate categories for the students of the government schools as well as colleges and government employees at Paramita Heritage School at Padmanagar in Karimnagar on Sunday.

An initiative of Karimangar Collector Pamela Satpathy, the event was organised in collaboration with Paramita Educational Institutions to promote good handwriting skills and highlight its cognitive benefits, official sources said.

More than 500 students and government employees participated in these competitions. Ms Pamela Satpathy and a host of officials were among those who participated in the competitions.

Paramita Educational Institutions chairman E. Prasada Rao and others were present. Cash prizes will be given to the winners of the three categories at a ceremony to be held at the Collectorate in Karimnagar on September 15, 2025.
