Madurai – Bengaluru Vande Bharat train via Tiruchi to run with 16 coaches from September 11

Madurai – Bengaluru Cantonment- Madurai Vande Bharat Express trains will run with 16 coaches from September 11.

The trains, which are operated via Dindigul, Tiruchi, Karur, Namakkal, Salem and Krishnarajapuram, enjoy high patronage due to pleasing ambience and faster journey time.

At present, the trains run with eight coaches: seven chair cars and one executive chair. The existing accommodation in the trains is insufficient to meet the travel requirements of passengers and, hence, accommodation in the trains is to be augmented. 

The composition of the trains will be doubled with effect from September 11. The Madurai – Bengaluru Cantonment- Madurai Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20671/20672) will run with 16 coaches: 14 chair cars and two executive chair cars, a press release from Salem Railway Division said on Tuesday.
